My 1st Excursion with AMEP student's in TAFE
Last Tuesday 9th march our class went to the Hawthorne park. So we met at the MRC in
the morning and they hired a bus. We left there at 10.30am and arrived in the park
after 15min later.
When we arrived at first we saw one of oldest aboriginal welcome us with smoke
ceremony. Then we walked through the bush where we saw some oldest gum tree and other
trees and some different type of spider. An hour later,we went to the park hall and
we saw some Australian native animal. That is- green tree frog,Ring tail
possum,Tawny frog mouth,Flying fox and Blue tongue lizard. We took some photos of
them and also our class mates. In the afternoon we get back on the bus and went to
the MRC where we had our lunch and had lots of fun. Then at 2.30pm to head back home.
We all enjoyed the excursion very much.Excursion organized for International Woman's
Day only for women. We all had a great time.
